About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales), you’ll work closely with enterprise customers throughout the sales journey—from understanding their business needs to designing technical solutions and supporting Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

You’ll collaborate with sales teams, technical stakeholders, and product teams to demonstrate how Usetech’s platform solves real-world business challenges while helping customers make informed technology decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Discovery & Solution Design

  • Conduct discovery meetings with prospective customers.
  • Understand business goals, infrastructure, and technical requirements.
  • Recommend solution architectures based on customer needs.
  • Explain both the business and technical value of the platform.
  • Provide guidance on deployment strategies.

Technical Consulting

  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Work with solution architects, infrastructure teams, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical discussions and architecture reviews.
  • Design and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot implementations.
  • Assist customers with integrating the platform into existing IT environments.

Pre-Sales Support

  • Plan and manage customer evaluation projects.
  • Support customers during testing and validation phases.
  • Resolve technical questions and objections.
  • Guide organizations through successful solution adoption.
  • Partner with the sales team to help close enterprise deals.

Product & Market Development

  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with internal teams.
  • Support product improvements and market expansion initiatives.
  • Customize presentations and demonstrations for different industries.
  • Assist with enterprise tenders and large-scale customer engagements.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Technical Pre-Sales
  • Solution Engineering
  • Solution Consulting
  • Enterprise Software Sales
  • Enterprise Customer Success
  • Technical Sales Engineering

Candidates should also have:

  • Experience supporting enterprise customers through complex sales cycles.
  • Experience leading Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilot deployments.

  • Ability to manage opportunities from discovery through successful deal closure.
