Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems, and cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring), and installing and maintaining water supply systems. Must be familiar with and understand the repairing and installation of plumbing equipment, and must prepare a record of work or assignment, retain the record to collect money, and be ready to install water piping systems and underground storm and sanitary systems.
