- Head of Retail Sales
Location – Dubai – Head Office, with frequent travel to branches across the UAE
KEY RESPONSIBILITY
- Lead, manage, and support the nationwide branch network to achieve business targets, branch profitability, and sustainable revenue growth.
- Monitor branch performance and KPIs, analyse business trends, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Oversee branch operational matters to ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Mentor and guide Branch Managers and frontline teams to uphold high service standards and ensure strong customer relationship management.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, along with new products and services, to expand the customer base and drive transaction volumes.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives that strengthen market competitiveness.
- Evaluate and recommend high-potential locations for new branches, relocations, or upgrades to optimise network coverage.
- Design and execute national sales campaigns, promotional offers, and partnership programs with external vendors and service providers.
- Collaborate with core functional teams—including Compliance, Operations, Marketing, HR, and Finance—to ensure seamless and efficient branch operations.
- Prepare and present detailed business performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas requiring improvement.
Required Qualification
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably within an Exchange House, Banking, or financial services sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing multi-branch operations and consistently achieving or exceeding aggressive sales targets.
- Excellent people-management and motivational abilities, with proven experience leading large, multi-cultural teams.
- Solid understanding of UAE market dynamics, the remittance business, and foreign exchange operations.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong proficiency in dashboards, KPIs, performance analytics, and competitor analysis.
