- Chief Accountant
- Location: JAFZA, Dubai
- Looking for a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) who will lead the finance team while also being hands-on with key accounting functions. This role is strictly open to fully qualified CAs only.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the finance & accounts team
- Handle hands-on accounting activities, including GL review, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements (IFRS)
- Manage UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance
- Lead internal and external audits
- Ensure strong internal controls and timely financial reporting
Requirements
- Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (mandatory)
- 6–8 years post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Corporate Tax, and audits
- Experience with ERP / accounting systems
Preferred Experience:
- Logistics / shipping / marine / trading industry experience
- JAFZA experience will be given priority
