YAS Oilfield Services is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting various accounting and financial operations, including:

• Preparing financial statements and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Handling VAT calculations and ensuring timely VAT filing.
• Processing payroll computations and WPS submissions.
• Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash transactions.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Recording month-end journal entries and assisting with financial closing procedures.
• Conducting account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Supporting external auditors during statutory audits and ICV audit processes.
• Working with SAP Ariba for procurement-related and financial transactions.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum one year of accounting experience is an advantage, although fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba will be considered an added benefit.
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT regulations and payroll processing.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.

Estimated Monthly Basic Salary

Although the company has not officially announced the salary package, the estimated monthly basic salary for similar Accountant roles in the UAE is:

• Accountant: AED 4,500 – 7,000 per month

The final offer may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and company policies. Additional employment benefits may also be provided in accordance with UAE labour regulations.
